Hietsun Paviljonki has received an honourable mention during the annual Rakentamisen Ruusu 2015 awards ceremony run by Helsinki Building Control. Hietsun Paviljonki built in 1930 is a community led project and was commended for its use of traditional building techniques and sensitive and respectful design.

Tristan has co-authored a chapter (with Eeva Berglund) of the recently published book: Uusi Helsinki? 11 avausta kaupungin mahdollisuuksiin. The chapter titled; Meri Rastila – Progressive Densification or Easy Alternative is one of 11 which discuss how Helsinki is changing for better and for worse. It is with deep regret that we have to confirm that Sauma is no longer working on the development of the Margariinitehdas co-ownership project. We started the project over 3 years ago and it has been an integral part of our lives. We would like to thank all our fellow unit owners and all those who have helped us.
Good luck to anyone who takes on the task of developing the building, it is a great opportunity to create something truly unique in the centre of Helsinki!
